Abstract

La mondialisation de l'économie dans un contexte d'économie de la connaissance modifie substantiellement non seulement les conditions concurrentielles entre les firmes mais également entre les territoires. Ces derniers sont confrontés aux logiques de localisation délocalisation des firmes et à une certaine forme de volatilité des investissements. En même temps, se construisent sur les territoires des compétences spécifiques résultant d'externalités de connaissance ou d'effets d'agglomération. Il s'agit de montrer qu'à travers les pôles de compétitivité, on assiste à l'émergence d'une nouvelle politique industrielle territoriale au croisement de la politique industrielle et de la politique d'aménagement du territoire.
