Abstract

L'article s'intéresse au processus d'internationalisation des services informatiques. Nous discutons des modalités d'internationalisation des services informatiques et nous nous intéressons à l'évolution quantitative du phénomène à partir d'une base de données réalisée sur les 35 premières entreprises du secteur et couvrant les neuf années de 1994 à 2002. Nous montrons que la dernière décennie n'a pas correspondu à une croissance de l'internationalisation des grandes firmes du secteur. On avance quelles hypothèses explicatives à partir d'une double causalité : difficultés de l'offre et localité de la demande.
