L'économie, une science de gouvernement ? La construction des délocalisations comme référent des politiques économiques

Abstract

Ce chapitre expose comment à partir de 1993, la politique économique fut interpellé pour stopper les délocalisations, accusées d'être la cause principale du chômage de masse, alors que ces délocalisations étaient en nombre limité. Nous verrons pourquoi une posture scientifique positiviste ne permettait pas d'appréhender cette demande sociale, laquelle, en revanche, se comprend bien à la lumière de la "logique plausible" que proposaient les représentations sociales instituées sur les effets de l'ouverture internationale d'une économie. Nous essaierons alors de démêler l'imbrication des enjeux épistémologiques et sociologiques sur laquelle s'est constituée la relation ambivalente, à la fois conflictuelle et connivente, entre scientifiques et politiques.
