Globalisation et territoire : le cas des SPL dans les pays en développement

Abstract

L'espace n'est pas un cadre dans lequel s'inscrivent les phénomènes économiques, mais, un facteur important de leur mode d'organisation et de leur dynamique. A l'intérieur des pays, les échanges sont affectés par le processus de spécialisation industriel, géographique, et, en retour, l'influencent. Dans l'économie globale actuelle, l'espace géographique ne semble pas avoir perdu de l'importance en matière d'impact économique, bien au contraire, son rôle est devenu singulièrement plus déterminant. Un lieu n'est pas un système local, s'il ne dispose pas de ramifications qui le lient au circuit global. La géographie économique n'est pas le résultat second de processus économiques et sociaux a-spatiaux. Elle est une composante active de la dynamique mondiale. En pays en développement, la nouvelle problématique de développement est centrée sur trois notions "spécialisation souple", systèmes productifs localisés" et "développement endogène" qui restent à analyser.
