La mobilité géographique dans un contexte d'insertion professionnelle. Quelques résultats tirés de l'enquête "Génération 98"

Abstract

L'article étudie la mobilité géographique des primo-entrants sur le marché du travail pour laquelle on fournit des éléments de caractérisation empirique à partir des informations fournies par l'enquête "Génération 98" réalisée par le Cereq. Une des innovations de l'enquête "Génération 98" par rapport aux précédentes enquêtes d'insertion, est de permettre une appréhension fine de la localisation des individus à différents stades de leur parcours. La mobilité géographique peut ainsi être repérée à partir des changements de zone d'emploi et non plus seulement à partir des changements de région administrative ou de département comme dans les enquêtes précédentes. L'article souligne les changements apportés par une approche par zones d'emploi. Il présente ensuite les situations de mobilité selon le niveau de formation puis selon la région de résidence des jeunes à la fin des études.
