Abstract

Les débats sur la mondialisation font épisodiquement état d'un risque de "moins-disant social" dans les pays les plus avancés. Cette contribution vise à éclairer les débats en se plaçant sur le terrain des "stratégies de mondialisation" des firmes. Trois enseignements se dégagent. En premier lieu, il apparaît que les firmes ont a priori le choix entre trois modèles de mondialisation (commercial, multinational, global). En outre, il s'avère que le cours actuel de la mondialisation est très propice au choix du "modèle global". En outre, il s'avère que le cours actuel de la mondialisation est très propice au choix du "modèle global", le seul à exercer un effet direct de moins-disant social dans les pays avancés. Enfin, on constate que cet effet de moins-disant du modèle global est amplifié par l'incitation à une "corporate governance" qui accentue encore les clivages salariaux et sociaux dans ces pays.
