Quel multilatéralisme à l'aune de l'Agenda pour le développement de l'OMC ?

Abstract

Le premier point de cette contribution présente le contenu de l'Agenda pour le développement de l'OMC, pour mettre en évidence le fait que cet Agenda ne renouvelle pas l'approche de l'OMC en ce qui concerne la relation entre commerce international et développement. Le second point analyse les implications de l'Agenda pour le développement en termes de gouvernance du système commercial multilatéral. Il débute par une analyse des conséquences de la priorité accordée à la question du développement sur la logique de la régulation multilatérale de l'OMC. Il conclut en relativisant la portée de ce programme par rapport au traitement effectif des pays en développement et des pays les moins avancés dans l'Organisation.
