Abstract

Ce chapitre présente l'insertion de l'Asie du Sud-Est dans le contexte régional et précise sa position par rapport aux grands flux de commerce et d'investissement. Il décrit ensuite les dynamismes fondamentaux des dix pays de la région. Finalement trois questions transversales permettent de tracer les perspectives contemporaines : la crise asiatique et sa résolution, le projet économique de l'Asean, les défis du développement durable.
