Abstract

Ce chapitre retrace les tentatives qui ont été menées pour adapter les théories de la stabilité hégémonique et des BPI (Biens Publics Internationaux) à l'objet G7 et, par extension, à d'autres formes de stabilisateur collectif. La première étape consiste à produire une version remaniée de la TSH (Théorie de la Stabilité Hégémonique). Elle est bien balisée par les travaux théoriques de Snidal. La seconde étape est plus exploratoire. Elle part de l'hypothèse que la coalition formée par le G7 pourrait être tentée de limiter les bienfaits de son action stabilisatrice à ses seuls membres. Une version révisée de la théorie des BPI permet d'intégrer cette possibilité.
