Abstract

Les liens parentaux dans l'entreprise familiale non cotée soulèvent des questions spécifiques à propos du management et de la responsabilité sociale du dirigeant. L'opportunité d'accès à une entreprise (holding) proche de l'archétype (un père et quatre fils, à la fois dirigeants et actionnaires) fournit la matière à une recherche exploratoire. Le fonctionnement de l'entreprise familiale est décrit à partir d'une analyse longitudinale de la stratégie et des structures organisationnellles. Il en ressort une faiblesse des mécanismes de contrôle par la relation hierarchique "actionnaire-agent principal". Les schémas mentaux familiaux partagés et la coopération privilégient un système de valeurs basé sur la confiance et l'effectivité. L'objectif de maximisation de la valeur de l'actionnaire s'avère une conception réductionniste de l'entreprise au regard des pratiques du management familial.
