Abstract

El crecimiento de la metrópoli tiende a modificar los componentes iniciales de este territorio ; las transformaciones se realizan principalmente a partir de la localización de las actividades más innovadoras y dinámicas, que resultan ser las mejores para generar más empleos y atraer a personas en su entorno. La localización de estas nuevas actividades puede acarrear una especialización marcada de ciertos componentes y la diversificación de otras zonas. A su vez puede modificar las relaciones entre los diferentes subespacios metropolitanos, actuando hacia una mayor integración, o bien hacia una mayor autonomía , y dejando aparecer nuevas polaridades o nuevas centralidades.
