Abstract

El objeto de este libro, que se apoya en diez anos de trabajos teoricos y encuestas de campo, es captar al mismo tiempo el trabajo y la familia. Esto permite dar cuenta de la manera en que la familia, por su composicion, sus structuras, se inscribe en el empleo y contribuye a definir las formas de trabajo y de actividad economica, tanto por los individuos, los groupos, las instituciones, como para los paises.Se puede asi comprener mejor lo que sucede en la gestion de la mano de obra en las empresas, que parece asignar los individuos a los puestos de trabajo en funcion de su situtacion familiar; y como las formas que presentan el trabajo y la familia son diferentes segun los sectores economicos. El analisis ayuda a detectar los groupos mobiles y a seguir los cambios en las sociedades desarrolladas, para las que no puede haber evolucion economica sin evolucion familiar.
