Abstract

Social Norms : a weapon in the competitive battle ?AbstractThe introduction of social norms is developing all over the world. This phenomenon has an obvious economic interest : better control of the competition. In these circumstances the corporations involved in this trend need to publicize the efforts they are making to respect social norms. However, the means French and international corporations employ to highlight their respect of social norms are somewhat limited for the moment. The authors attempt to explain this paradox and point out how the situation is likely to evolve
