Abstract

L'égalité des chances à l'école ne se confond manifestement pas avec l'égalité des chanceslors de l'accès au marché du travail. Ainsi, alors que les professions des parents ont unimpact similaires sur les niveaux d'études des deux sexes, certaines d'entre elles favorisentl'obtention d'un emploi cadre pour les garçons. Le constat d'une influence analogue del'origine sociale sur le niveau d'études pour les filles et les garçons est néanmoins relativisé.En effet, la situation professionnelle des parents est souvent plus favorable ou moinsdéfavorable aux garçons qu'aux filles, notamment le chômage des parents.
