Abstract

Cet article a pour objectif d'introduire le lecteur non initié au dossier du changement climatique : il présente ses causes, ses conséquences, ainsi que son interaction avec les questions d'économie et de développement. L'article comprend également une brève description du processus multilatéral de négociation sous l'égide des Nations Unies ; rappelle les objectifs de la Convention sur le Changement Climatique et dresse le tableau des enjeux politiques. Sa conclusion est un vigoureux plaidoyer en faveur d'une approche harmonisée du développement du Sud et de la lutte contre le réchauffement planétaire
