Abstract

L'entreprise ATOCHEM se situe dans le bassin d'emploi de la chimie du sud de l'agglomération lyonnaise où une multitude de grosses entreprises de chimie cohabitent : ATOCHEM, Rhône-Poulenc, CIBA GEIGY, Air Liquide. Le cadre de l'étude intègre ce bassin de la chimie comme étant l'espace local de référence de l'entreprise ATOCHEM. La perspective de travail est donc double, interne et externe : espace de travail et de production d'une part, et analyse des institutions et partenaires interférant directement et indirectement sur les politiques locales des entreprises en matière de formation, d'économie, d'environnement ...Il s'agit de comprendre 1)le fondement d'un tissu industriel axé sur la chimie depuis le XIXème siècle, qui a su s'entourer d'entreprises de sous traitance ; 2) les relations économiques et sociales entre ces différentes entreprises et 3) le fonctionnement d'une de ces entreprises.
