Abstract

Cette étude est basée sur un cas réel et historique : l'émergence des Grands Magasins en France, au milieu du XIXe siècle, qui ont révolutionné les modes de consommation. Elle expose en particulier l'un d'entre eux « Le Bon Marché », afin d'approfondir la notion de paternalisme, grâce à la mobilisation d'archives d'époque. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'un sujet historique, il permet d'aborder des notions essentielles et contemporaines telles que celle du « Business Model ». Il fait par ailleurs le lien avec le développement de la grande distribution, et propose d'échanger avec les étudiants sur la problématique de la Fast-Fashion.
