La pertinence empirique de la perspective culturelle du management en Côte d'Ivoire

Abstract

Plusieurs chercheurs ont essayé de définir un modèle de management propre à l'Afrique : « le management africain ». Dans cet article, nous avons étudié le management d'une entreprise ivoirienne sur la période 1990-2020 afin de comprendre son évolution au fil du temps. Nos résultats permettent de distinguer plusieurs pratiques managériales : le style autocratique sur une longue période (1990-2015), puis le style collégial sur une période de deux années (2015-2016), suivi du retour du style autocratique sur la période 2016-2020. De notre recherche, un élément clé émerge : le management actuel s'est construit autour de la compréhension des pratiques culturelles, religieuses et gestionnaires, ce qui explique une approche managériale équilibrée.
