Abstract

L'histoire des coopératives d'activités et d'emploi (CAE) est une histoire de pratiques qui cherchent leur droit. Trois grandes questions juridiques intriquées les unes aux autres, et les débats qu'elles suscitent, ont profondément structuré l'identité de ce mouvement et continuent d'alimenter ses dynamiques : la question de la nature juridique de la CAE d'abord ; celle du statut social individuel de ses membres en posture entrepreneuriale, ensuite ; et celle du régime de propriété des activités économiques développées par ces membres, enfin.
