Abstract

La recherche s'intéresse à l'alliance stratégique pour répondre au défi de l'attractivité des hôpitaux de proximité. Notre approche théorique propose de croiser les cinq besoins préalables aux alliances stratégiques entre établissements de santé avec la littérature sur les hôpitaux magnétiques ( Magnet Hospitals ). Notre approche compréhensive s'appuie sur l'étude de cas de deux hôpitaux, inscrits dans une alliance stratégique et mettant en œuvre des moyens pour renforcer leur attractivité. La méthodologie s'appuie sur une analyse documentaire, de l'observation participante et des entretiens semi-directifs. Les résultats nous permettent d'identifier les attributs magnétiques mis en œuvre et le fait que l'alliance stratégique, dans un tel contexte, réponde à un sixième besoin : celui de la préservation du service public hospitalier.
