L’économie politique du “corps-institution” dans le capitalisme du 21ème siècle : une approche par la théorie de la régulation

Abstract

Le corps constitue un objet d'analyse pour de nombreuses disciplines scientifiques, à l'exception des sciences économiques. À partir d'un ancrage à l'économie politique de la théorie de la régulation, ce papier a pour objectif de mettre en évidence la portée heuristique d'une analyse économique du corps. Le corps est alors pensé comme une ressource individuelle transformable en capital valorisé par l'intermédiaire de marchés, et donc susceptible d'accumulation. Mais cette ressource individuelle n'est pas déconnectée du système macroéconomique dans lequel elle s'insère : le corps, encastré dans des rapports de force et des enjeux de pouvoir, est à la fois le reflet comme le moteur des sociétés capitalistes. Nous expliquons dans ce papier dans quelle mesure, avec une réflexion particulière sur l'ère dite "post-COVID 19".
