Abstract

La pandémie de Covid a remis en lumière une réalité qui a la vie dure : alors que les systèmes économiques et financiers sont de plus en plus incohérents et volatils, les États-providence agissent comme des forces de stabilisation sociale et de développement humain, conformément à la double finalité pour laquelle ils ont été créés dans les années 1880 en Europe : protéger et partager la prospérité. Dans une approche par les besoins et dans une approche par les risques, ce livre démontre qu'un État-providence actualisé en un État social-écologique est une formidable chance pour les sociétés humaines au 21ème siècle.
