Abstract

Our research studies the mechanisms of a serious game deployed in a hospital environment. Our results highlight the importance of the combination of several factors: medical hypnosis, the blurring between reality and the game, and a detailed knowledge of how the procedure unfolds. This article contributes to research on the co-production of care and is part of the field of transformative service research.
