Abstract

Présentation Cela fait maintenant plus de 30 ans que le mur de Berlin s'est effondré et, avec lui, l'idée d'une forme d'économie alternative au capitalisme reposant sur la collectivisation. Alors que le capitalisme règne sans entraîner pour autant le ruissellement de la richesse et la fin de la pauvreté qui en étaient les promesses revendiquées, n'y a-t-il aucune alternative entre la brutalité collectiviste et la brutalité capitaliste ? En revisitant l'histoire du courant néolibéral et les fondements de l'économie de marché, ce dossier analyse à nouveaux frais le capitalisme comme un dévoiement théorique et pratique de l'économie de marché. Par-delà le brouillage idéologique qui nous fait le plus souvent confondre économie de marché, libéralisme et capitalisme, chacun de ces termes dessine des horizons différents. Une économie de marché non capitaliste et non réduite à l'individualisme smithien est-elle un mythe ou en existe-t-il déjà des formes ?
