Abstract

Ce chapitre repose sur les analyses de Jullien de Pommerol et al. [2024]. Entre septembre 2021 et décembre 2023, l'indice de prix à la consommation harmonisé (IPCH) a augmenté de 12,8 % en France. La sortie de la crise Covid a ainsi marqué le retour d'une forte inflation, dépassant les 7 % en glissement annuel au sommet des tensions en février 2023, soit un niveau inobservé depuis plus de quatre décennies. Sur l'ensemble de la période, la montée des prix est particulièrement forte pour les composantes énergétiques (+ 29 %) et alimentaire (+ 20 %), mais ceci ne doit pas masquer la forte progression des composantes du sous-jacent (+ 8 % pour les services et les biens industriels non énergétiques) (voir chapitre précédent).
