Abstract

As part of the Université de Bordeaux's Quality of Life and Health at Work policy, we are presenting the results of the ‘Analysis of the working hours of teacher-researchers' survey carried out internally at the Bordeaux School of Economics (BSE) at the end of 2023. The project arose from the observation that, for some teacher-researchers at BSE, the workload had become unreasonable, with a dispersal and increase in tasks that had little to do with their profession. The management of BSE wanted to obtain objective data on the work of teacher-researchers and in particular on the distribution of working time. The idea was to set up a diagnostic tool to be used in discussions with the unit's 3 supervisory bodies (University, CNRS, INRAE).
