Abstract

Est-ce nécessaire d'émettre une monnaie sans dette pour pouvoir financer des activités essentielles mais qui ne sont pas forcément rentables ? Dans sa lecture du Pouvoir de la monnaie de Jézabel Couppey-Soubeyran, Pierre Delandre et Augustin Sersiron, l'économiste post-keynésien Eric Berr répond plutôt par la négative : le problème n'est pas de savoir comment la monnaie est émise mais la façon dont elle est régie, autrement dit qui décide de son affectation.
