Abstract

Cette présentation vise à montrer l'intérêt de la lecture du Traité sur la Monnaie de Keynes qui a souvent été délaissée au profit de la Théorie Générale. On trouve dans le Traité sur la monnaie des éléments d'analyses incontournables du capitalisme financier, de l'inflation et du rôle des banques. Le postulat de l'unité de compte y est affirmé, ce qui inscrit Keynes dans la tradition monétaire que les théories de la valeur combattent.
