Abstract

Depuis l'Antiquité, les êtres artificiels sont présents dans les récits d'imaginaire ou dans les expérimentations scientifiques ; apparus au XXe siècle, performants, les robots sont aujourd'hui massivement présents dans l'industrie. Mais après avoir rêvé, dans Blade Runner, de moutons électriques et d'androïdes, la science-fiction s'interroge : les robots seront-ils toujours, pour l'humanité, de fidèles assistants, ou pourraient-ils devenir une menace ? En deux articles, une interview et huit nouvelles – deux classiques du genre et six fictions inédites –, la fine fleur de l'imaginaire et les meilleurs spécialistes s'interrogent sur la robotique et sur ses possibles évolutions. Une chose est sûre : les robots et les cobots – ces nouveaux robots coopératifs du XXIe siècle – sont parmi nous. Et pour longtemps !
