Abstract

Alors que l'innovation contient souvent la promesse d'une vie meilleure, certains groupes de personnes telles que les personnes en situation de handicap, les personnes en situation de précarité, les personnes âgées ou les populations des pays en développement sont largement exclues de l'innovation, n'y ayant pas accès et n'étant pas impliquées dans la conception des innovations. Pourtant, bien souvent les produits existants ne répondent pas à leurs besoins, besoins qui pourraient inspirer des innovations pour le grand public. Le concept d'innovation inclusive a mis en valeur cet enjeu d'innovation pour et avec des groupes exclus mais les modalités de l'innovation inclusive restent à définir, en particulier en prenant en compte l'ensemble des groupes exclus de l'innovation. A partir d'une revue de littérature, nous proposons un cadre d'analyse mettant en regard le processus de production d'une innovation inclusive et le niveau de participation des groupes exclus à l'innovation. Pour chaque étape du processus et chaque niveau de participation, nous précisons les défis de l'innovation inclusive.
