Abstract

L'entreprise verte est-elle créatrice de valeur financière (value) ou bien vise-t-elle uniquement à satisfaire à des valeurs sociétales liées à l'économie durable (value(s)) comme l'a énoncé Laura Starks dans sa Presidential Adress à l'American Finance Association de 2023 et que nous avons développé dans notre contribution à l'ouvrage collectif, Finance Durable. Pour répondre à cette question, il faut répondre à plusieurs sous questions :– Existe-t-il une corrélation entre performances RSE et performances financières (1) ?– Existe-t-il des différences entre les investisseurs ESG et non ESG (2) ?– Quels sont les avantages des investissements RSE (3) ?– Comment les investissements RSE créent-ils de la valeur (4) ?– Comment l'approche value(s) modifie-t-elle l'appréhension de l'univers des investissements possibles (5) ?
