Abstract

Entreprendre sur une île signifie composer avec l'isolement géographique et économique. Longtemps spécialisée dans l'agriculture et le tourisme, la Guadeloupe se diversifie pour se développer. L'économie du numérique y constitue une réponse sociale, économique et technique pertinente. Depuis 2013, le cluster GuadeloupeTech mobilise pour accompagner cette transformation. Le bilan de l'association est l'opportunité de mesurer l'ampleur des actions menées et leur impact sur le paysage entrepreneurial guadeloupéen. En liant contraintes territoriales et modalités d'action, cette contribution offre un nouvel angle d'observation de l'entrepreneuriat guadeloupéen, porté par un fort engagement. En adaptant une grille d'évaluation de cluster, nous proposons un modèle qui permettra aux acteurs publics comme privés de comprendre la façon dont les initiatives portées peuvent constituer une correction du cadre de contraintes.
