Abstract

The purpose of the 40th EGOS Colloquium 2024 is to investigate "Crossroads: Time, Place and People". Imagine standing at a crossroads, where each path before you leads to a different future. This is where many organizations find themselves today. We are at a juncture where critical decisions must be made that will shape the direction and will impact the future. But there are other meanings as well: crossroad might be something like "the point where two roads meet, but also an intersection connecting people traveling from different sites and moving in different directions. In this respect, a crossroad might be, at the same time, a central meeting space or a turning point between worlds with vibrant, vital energy where people and cultures can melt together or assimilate into a harmonious whole with a common culture
