Abstract

"L'évaluation du travail dans les grandes entreprises françaises depuis quarante ans donnent lieu à un large débat. La logique de ces pratiques d'évaluation est analysée à la lumière d'une grille économique enrichie d'apports récents en gestion et en sociologie du travail. Après avoir analysé deux modèles idéaux-types d'évaluation - le modèle d'évaluation impersonnelle et le modèle d'évaluation personnelle - l'article montre que le modèle d'évaluation personnelle en émergence aujourd'hui est porteur de certaines tensions : au niveau de la recherche d'objectivité dans la description du travail, au niveau des limites de la procédure d'appréciation individuelle, et au niveau des contradictions entre la dimension individuelle mise en avant par les pratiques d'évaluation et la dimension collective nécessaire au bon fonctionnement de l'entreprise."
