Abstract

À l'heure où l'attrait pour le secteur public suscite des interrogations et où les gouvernements rencontrent des difficultés à trouver des solutions efficaces pour attirer des candidats et assurer le bon fonctionnement du service public, cette étude se propose d'explorer la motivation de service public comme levier pour encourager les comportements altruistes et prosociaux des agents publics. En adoptant une approche quantitative, la recherche se concentre sur la relation entre la Motivation de Service Public (MSP) et le comportements de citoyenneté organisationnelle (CCO), en se basant sur les managers publics au sein des collectivités territoriales. Les chercheurs préconisent de mettre en avant les comportements prosociaux afin de renforcer le bon fonctionnement des organisations publiques.
