Ernest Mandel et la bureaucratie

Abstract

Pour cette séance, je me concentrerai sur un corpus restreint de textes écrit par Ernest Mandel à savoir De la bureaucratie (1978), Power and Money (1992) et Où va l'URSS de Gorbatchev ? (1989). Si l'étude de la bureaucratie chez Mandel ne se limite pas à ces textes, ceux-ci constituent une source déjà dense permettant de voir avec précision comment Mandel définit la bureaucratie, les évolutions de celles-ci, ainsi que la place qu'il lui donne quant à l'étude de l'URSS notamment dans sa phase tardive. Dans un dernier temps de l'exposé, je m'attacherai à revenir sur quelques points de discussions autour de la bureaucratie, en revenant sur des articles de Nicos Poulantzas ou Catherine Samary.
