Abstract

Based on a lab-experiment conducted with 161 consumers, this research investigates various informational display formats (multicriteria scale, overall score or logo) of sustainability (environmental and social). Results show a general positive effect of environmental and social sustainability information, but also highlight some differences according to the format and the nature of the sustainable information provided.
