Abstract

The topic of the governance of non-profit organizations has been the subject of major research work over the last twenty years. Starting from the theory of organizations, researchers analyze governance of non-profit organizations by highlighting the common or different characteristics between them and enterprises. Our aim in this article is to show how the tools of organization theory, based on firms, are mobilized to apply them to non-profit organizations Non-profit organizations, like companies, question themselves on their objectives, the decision-making process, the nature of power relations, the circulation of information... in a context of imperfect information.
