Abstract

L'espace de travail, lorsqu'il est bien pensé, peut devenir un véritable outil pour incarner la marque employeur. Taylor partait déjà de ce principe au début du XXe siècle lorsqu'il plaidait pour un poste de travail spatialement rationalisé. Aujourd'hui, les open spaces, les flex offices, l'activity based working, le coworking, les tiers-lieux, le télétravail cristallisent de nombreux enjeux pour les entreprises. L'organisation des espaces de travail n'a cessé de se réinventer, tout en restant un enjeu managérial et stratégique incontournable. Ainsi, de leur articulation en trois temps aux nouveaux espaces, ce livre dresse un panorama critique des évolutions des espaces de travail et examine ses répercussions sur les salariés, les organisations et les territoires : attractivité, vécu spatial, qualité de vie, performance, coûts, santé et sécurité. Il n'existe pas de solution unique. Chaque société en fonction de ses activités doit réfléchir à sa solution optimale. Toutefois, plus que jamais, les espaces de travail doivent se réinventer à la fois pour survivre financièrement, répondre aux nouveaux usages et aux nouvelles exigences environnementales.
