Abstract

Le marché des biens de luxe d'occasion connaît aujourd'hui une croissance rapide, liée à la fois à une évolution des goûts des consommateurs, au développement du e-commerce, notamment des enchères en ligne, et à un engouement de la génération Y pour ces biens. Après avoir présenté l'évolution de ce marché, cet article compare les trois principaux mécanismes de vente en ligne qui coexistent actuellement sur différentes plateformes : les enchères en ligne, les ventes à prix fixe et les mécanismes hybrides. Il analyse leur impact sur les prix et les probabilités de transaction en fonction des préférences des acheteurs et des vendeurs et montre en quoi les facteurs émotionnels spécifiques aux enchères peuvent également influencer les résultats.
