Abstract

Based on an interdisciplinary work that aims to scientifically found the territorial revitalization concept, this book tests its operationality by mobilizing it to understand the dynamics of industrial territories. However, far from being reserved for the scientific community, this book also proposes a reading grid of the practices of actors involved in the transformation of the North Franc-Comtois territory. This case can constitute an archetype for all actors involved in the future of industrial areas in decline. The authors draw recommendations for action, not limited to public actors.
