La réindustrialisation : évidence ou illusion ?

Abstract

La France se mettrait-elle à adorer ce qu'elle avait autrefois dénigré : l'industrie ? Elle ne serait pas la seule. De l'Europe aux Etats-Unis, de l'extrême gauche à l'extrême droite en passant par le centre libéral, une ébauche de consensus tend aujourd'hui à s'imposer sur la nécessité de se réindustrialiser. Les uns y verront la réhabilitation des interventions de l'État, d'autres l'occasion de retrouver une souveraineté abîmée, d'accélérer la transition écologique, de revitaliser des territoires délaissés, de créer des emplois, de gagner en productivité, etc.Pourtant, si on peut s'entendre sur la réalité et les conséquences de la désindustrialisation, la « réindustrialisation » est-elle le bon concept pour inspirer les politiques ?
