Abstract

Cet article propose une analyse critique des fondements théoriques des approches de la transition énergétique des organisations internationales pour les pays du Sud. Celles-ci font référence à deux modèles théoriques – l'échelle énergétique et l'échelle d'accumulation énergétique – analysés d'un point de vue paradigmatique, théorique et normatif. Ces modèles retiennent les postulats de la microéconomie classique de la consommation. Cela aboutit à promouvoir une vision idéalisée, hors sol et essentialiste de la transition énergétique qui néglige les spécificités contextuelles que revêt ce processus. Cette analyse conclut en faveur d'une approche située de la transition énergétique.
