Abstract

The communication aims at better understanding how agricultural education students are tackling the issue of climate change. For this, it investigates how their presence in three contrasting cultural spaces, the school, the social networks and their living territories shape their beliefs on the subject and endow them with a power of intermediation in the said spaces. The study highlights that these three cultural spaces contribute each in their own way to forging the opinions of students and that if they provide an intermediary function within the cultural spaces considered, it is in the living areas and mainly in the rural areas that they assume this function most actively and thus act as true operators of institutional change.
