Abstract

Les statistiques manquent mais la réalité est là ! L'utilisation des services des « géants du numérique » est massive dans l'Éducation nationale. Parfois au travers de licences collectives souscrites par la puissance publique, le plus souvent via des comptes personnels et gratuits qui échappent à l'emprise réglementaire de l'institution et offrent encore moins de garanties quant à la protection des données personnelles. Ainsi, l'utilisation des suites logicielles Office 365 (Microsoft) et Workspace (Google) suscite-elle depuis des années des controverses qu'il est utile de resituer dans un contexte institutionnel, géopolitique, juridique et éthique.
