Abstract

The Esade Institute for Social Innovation hosted the ‘Organizations, Artifacts and Practices' (OAP) Workshop on 8 and 9 June at Esade Barcelona. The workshop was organized with the collaboration of ESSEC Business School and the Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, and facilitated discussions between academics from various disciplines who share an interest in science and technology relative to organization, work, and organizational practices.OAP 2023, entitled ‘Historicity in Organization Studies: Describing Events and Current Affairs at the Frontiers of our Present', provided participants with a unique experience and opportunity to talk about philosophies of history and the metaphysics of history in relation to organizations and organizational practices.
