Abstract

2022 est une année charnière pour l'entreprise ActBlue de Faulquemont (57). Adossée depuis sa création à de grands groupes industriels, l'entreprise vient d'être rachetée par un groupe Chinois, ActBlue, après un plan de sauvegarde de l'emploi. ActBlue France est une entreprise spécialisée depuis plus de 20 ans dans la conception et la fabrication de systèmes de filtration des gaz d'échappement des moteurs diesel à partir de la technologie SCR (Système de réduction catalytique) qui permettent une réduction de 95% des émissions de NOx (Oxyde d'azote). Dans l'attente d'une première visite des dirigeants chinois, bloqués par le confinement imposé à la suite de l'épidémie de Covid-19, son PDG, Monsieur Schwarz, s'interroge. Il souhaite assurer la pérennité de son entreprise et présenter un projet à son nouvel actionnaire en s'inscrivant dans la perspective de la démarche « tête de pont du groupe pour son déploiement sur les marchés européens et américains » annoncée lors de la reprise. Ce cas présente la situation réelle d'une entreprise. Il place les étudiants dans la posture d'analyste d'un cabinet d'études qui doit présenter un projet stratégique à ses nouveaux actionnaires dans un contexte particulièrement complexe : la crise sanitaire liée au Covid-19 a fortement limité les contacts avec les dirigeants du nouveau groupe et la clarification de leurs motivations à terme ; la guerre en Ukraine et l'embargo décidé par les pays de la Communauté Européenne interdisent de livrer un client important ; les tensions Sino-Américaines hypothèquent les possibilités de transferts de technologie et la réglementation sur les moteurs diesel à travers la norme Euro7 tarde à être publiée.
