Élections de mai 2023 en Turquie : enjeux et perspectives économiques

Abstract

La crise économique qui s'aggrave en Turquie depuis 2018 et les méthodes de plus en plus autoritaires du président Erdoğan (depuis 20141) et du Parti de la justice et du développement (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi – AKP) au pouvoir depuis 2002 conduisent de plus en plus de Turcs à souhaiter une alternance. La plupart des partis d'opposition se sont réunis au sein d'une coalition électorale, l'Alliance de la nation, construite autour d'une candidature commune à la présidentielle et de la volonté d'obtenir une majorité parlementaire. C'est en soi une réussite, car en deux décennies de vie politique dominée par l'AKP, ses opposants, divisés par leur grande diversité idéologique, n'avaient jusqu'alors guère réussi à s'unir. Toutefois, ce rassemblement se fait sur une base programmatique minimale (mettre fin au pouvoir de Recep Tayyip Erdoğan et à son régime présidentiel) et il reste fragile en raison du caractère très hétéroclite de l'alliance.
