Abstract

Après des années de croissance régulière, le Kirghizstan, l'Ouzbékistan et le Tadjikistan semblent avoir entamé en 2014 une période de fléchissement, dû en partie aux effets de la crise économique mondiale qui commencent à se faire sentir avec plus d'acuité dans la région. Le Turkménistan y échappe pour le moment grâce aux exportations de ses riches ressources en gaz naturel, qui lui permettent de soutenir de vastes programmes d'investissements publics en infrastructures et bâtiments. Toutefois, à l'instar de ce que l'on constate dans les trois autres pays de la sous-région, l'économie turkmène reste peu diversifiée. Elle se présente comme une économie rentière en ressources naturelles, structurellement fragile vis-à-vis des probables retournements sectoriels et mondiaux. [Premier paragraphe]
