Précarité vs sobriété : quel rôle pour la mobilité inclusive dans la transition écologique du secteur des transports ?

Abstract

Selon le Groupe d'experts intergouvernemental sur l'évolution du climat (GIEC), le budget CO2 global par personne et par an est estimé entre 1,6 t et 2,8 t pour ne pas dépasser 2 °C de réchauffement en 2100 (contre 11,2 tCO2eq en moyenne par Français, dont 8 t de CO2). Le secteur des transports étant responsable de 30 % de ces émissions, dont 97 % sont constituées de CO2, il est possible de déduire du budget CO2 global défini par le GIEC une estimation du budget CO2 par personne et par an en matière de transport de 0,84 tCO2, soit 840 kgCO2. En comparant ce budget aux émissions actuelles de CO2, on observe que ce sont les personnes les plus concernées par la précarité énergétique transport qui se rapprochent le plus du budget carbone individuel cible à l'horizon 2100.
